FUNImation To Premiere Attack On Titan English Dub at Anime Boston 2014

Anime Boston 2014 recently announced Mike McFarland, director of Attack on Titan, as their guest of honor for the upcoming convention in March.  Shortly after that announcement, Anime Boston released some incredibly exciting new for the popular anime: FUNImation will be premiering the English dub of Attack on Titan at Anime Boston 2014.

At the present time, Attack on Titan has only been available in original Japanese with English subtitles.  With the shows ever increasing popularity, this is a truly proud moment for both FUNImation and one of the U.S.’s largest anime conventions.  The announcement confirmed that Mike MacFarland and other special guests will be present for the premiere.

Anime Boston 2014 will be occurring from March 21-24th and tickets are registration is still open.

A series synopsis provided by Anime Boston:

When the man-eating giants called Titans first appeared, humans retreated behind massive walls. After a hundred years of safety, a colossal-sized Titan smashes through the defenses, unleashing a flood of giants and carnage in the streets. Eren Jaeger watches helplessly as one of the creatures devours his mother. 

He vows to kill every Titan walking the earth. Eren and his surviving friends enlist to fight against the insatiable monsters. The future looks bleak, but there’s more to Eren than meets the eye: he may be humanity’s last hope against extinction.
