Godfire: Rise of Prometheus

Developed  by Vivid Games, creators of the  award-winning Real Boxing, Godfire: Rise of Prometheus puts players in the armour of Prometheus as he battles through a rich and detailed world to retrieve the Godfire Spark and bring its fantastic powers to humanity. With a  fully voiced cast of mythical characters and a story by Steve Ince (writer  of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings and Broken Sword), the game brings the full triple-A experience to iOS and Android:

The protagonist of Godfire: Rise of Prometheus is none other than Prometheus, the very first hero in Greek mythology, commonly known for defying the Gods and giving fire to humanity. In Godfire, Prometheus is a man fighting for mankind against the villains of mythos. We had the pleasure of demoing Godfire at PAX East 2014, and it was one of the highest quality games we saw at the convention. The graphics and gameplay blow many indie games out of the water.  Vivid Games has done  a fantastic job at capturing the lore of Greek mythology, while seamlessly creating a fun and enjoyable gameplay. Godfire resembles a God of War style action adventure game, but still possesses many unique attributes that make it perfect for mobile gaming.

“The inspiration of Godfire: Rise of Prometheus came from God of War and Clash of Titans. We tried to create something unique while incorporating Greek mythology”, said Game Designer, Grzegorz Brol.

There are 7 game levels and multiple difficulty settings, each bringing different secrets, puzzles, and tougher enemies. The game features strong details in motion capturing, a compelling story, experienced voice acting, and phenomenal graphics. Godfire also offers health/rage bars, a variety of mythological bosses, heavy/light attacks, and upgradable weapons and armor, making this a very well-rounded gaming experience. We were impressed by how fluid the gameplay was, even with the incorporation of impressive finishing-moves, often times decapitating enemies or dealing a lethal blow with your weapon. Godfire receives the G&C Stamp of Approval and will surely be well-worth the buy at launch.

Godfire: Rise of Prometheus is set to launch 2nd Quarter 2014.
