One of the most popular problems amongst the Kingdom Hearts franchise results in many gamers having no idea how the order of the series works. With prequels and sequels releasing out of order and bizarre titles with words like “Re:” and “Final Mix +”, it is no surprise that this series could use an explanation. Square Enix had a bunch of games featured at PAX East, but we were actually able to nail down an exclusive interview and see a hands-off demo of the upcoming Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX. For those that are fans of this series, but are confused on the order of the games, you may want to first read this blog that I wrote earlier explaining the order of the series. It looks like the states will finally get some of the Kingdom Hearts goodness that’s usually reserved for Japan with the release of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX for the Playstation 3.
ReMIX contains HD version of Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, trophy support, and enhanced cinematic scenes from the Nintendo DS exclusive 358/2 days. Why only the cutscenes? Your guess is as good as mine.
Square Enix hasn’t announced an official release date yet, but expect it come this fall.

However, with so many side stories, the series has probably left many of you lost and not knowing what the heck is going on. I am going to give the breakdown of each game and where it fits in the story.
