Mixing the success of the past and the promises for the future, Marvel is celebrating their 75th anniversary with an interactive website spotlighting audio, picture galleries and more to revisit the histories of their beloved comics.

Marvel is launching the new site in April with interactive timelines and interviews with the greats such as Stan Lee and Roy Thomas along with Dan Slott, Kelly Sue DeConnick, Brian Michael Bendis and many more.

Editor-in-chief Axel Alson stated that the goal of the 75th celebration is to bring awareness to the other great Marvel heroes, more than the big screen names like Captain America and Spider-Man. There will be spotlights on every era including the Golden Age of comics in the late 1930s, the roots of Peter Parker, the creation of the Fantastic Four and even the rise of X-men.

Essentially it sounds like the site will be similar to revisiting your favorite book– reliving all your favorite moments and seeing where it all began.  It’s going to be marvelous.
