One month after its premiere opening, Spider-Man: No Way Home is sitting comfortably as the #8 Highest Grossing Movie of all time. During premiere weekend, promotional movie newspapers at a real-life pop-up Daily Bugle stands were sold in New York City. Game & Comic acquired one of these newspapers to share the fun-filled articles inside.

Marvel’s S.H.I.E.L.D Joins Netflix

This week Season One of Marvel’s S.H.I.E.L.D will premiere on Netflix. The show revolves around the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division or the secretive government agency introduced in The Avengers to investigate superhuman phenomena from Thor to Captain America.
Joss Whedon is the series executive producer. The show has been on the rise with popularity since it’s debut (currently on season two).
Last year, Netflix and Disney signed a multiyear deal where Marvel will develop four original live action series by 2015. The series will be based on four of Marvel’s fan favorite street-hero characters like Daredevil, then Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage.
S.H.I.E.L.D will streaming on Netflix November 20th.

‘Avengers and X-men: AXIS’ Details Revealed

Marvel released details of the fall event series where two best sellers, Avengers and X-men, will join up again (after Uncanny Avengers) against a common super villain.
The upgraded villain of the series is Red Skull, as known from Captain America, and his telepathic powers gained from parts of Professor Xavier’s brain… Ah, the perfect mixture of the two groups.

Coming up this summer– the showdown between Hulk and Iron Man. Four issues of Original Sin #3.1-3.4, co written by Hulk writer Mark Waid and Iron Man writer Kieron Gillen, deal with the revelation that Stark potentially designed the gamma bomb…. you know, the one that turned Bruce Banner into the Hulk.There’s some thirty plus years of Banner’s personal guilt trips gone down the drain.

When it rains, it pours, goes the old adage, one that has rung particularly true for Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool, and the folks at Marvel, this past week. Deadpool #27, released on April 9th, commemorates Deadpool’s marriage to Shiklah, an ancient succubus. While, of course, this is cause for celebration in itself, the cover of this “enormously oversized” and “most important issue” features a giant group pic of all of the event’s attendees, and thereby sports a stamp marking its place in the Guinness Book of World Records for “most comic book characters on a single issue cover”.
