DC’s Batgirl Redesign

Back in July, the internet exploded about DC’s new Batgirl redesign. With a hip, stylish, and cool costume, we are seeing Barbara Gordon like we have never seen her before. Babs Tarr, the artist behind the revamped comic, originally made much of her fame through her Tumblr. At Boston Comic Con 2014, Tarr was flooded with fans showing their appreciation for the new take on a character they love. It was great seeing so much positive energy surrounding the new Batgirl. We had the chance to ask Tarr a few questions about her thoughts on this experience:

Boston Comic Con’s Friday panel lineup included a special Batman Panel featuring Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo. If you are a current DC reader, chances are you are reading the New 52 Batman. Batman has been one of DC’s strongest and most consistently great series, and fans were given the chance to learn a bit more behind the two people who make it all happen:

The Man of Steel

The Man of Steel

What if I told you that Superman was not actually a disappointing superhero based on his intentions?  During Boston Comic Con 2013, a DC Comics panel, hosted by a few big artists and writers, sparked some interesting notes about the intentions of Superman.  Scott Snyder, who currently writes a Superman comic entitled Superman Unchained made a bold statement basically saying that Superman may not be the hero Earth needed after all.
