On the showroom floor, very quickly the crowd became overrun by bright blue shirts, baring the name “Gigantic”. We talked to dozens of people on the floor, all of which giving this game their ‘favorite game at PAX’ title. Here’s why:

Relive Final Fantasy VII on your PC!
Posted: August 16, 2012 by Ian Gaudreau in Gamenomics - Video Games, Steam, PC, & Indie GamesTags: FF7, Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VII PC, PC
To put it bluntly, this is literally my favorite video game of all time. Although I have been begging for a remake for PS3 with up-to-date graphics, I am pumped that the game is now available for PC, so more gamers can enjoy an older classic game. I have been planning to do an additional blog that delves into my opinion of the Final Fantasy VII saga, but I wanted to get this message out as soon as possible. If you want to play an incredible game, I highly recommend picking this game up at the Square Enix Store as soon as you can. Final Fantasy VII is the epitome of a fantastic RPG. It has awesome characters, a storyline that is easy to follow (which is rare in most Final Fantasy games lately) and a great battle system that will surely keep you entertained.
Since Square Enix has just released the remake for PC, they are doing a promotion that makes the price only $9.99! At that price, you can’t beat the gameplay that you will get.
If you end up buying it, let us know and leave a comment! We would also love to hear from long-time FF7 fans!
Say hello to Surface, Microsoft’s first tablet device

Microsoft revealed its very first tablet device yesterday during it’s press event in Los Angeles, called Surface, and man does it look pretty. At first glance it looks like any other tablet: very flat with a large screen. In terms of aesthetics, however, what sets this tablet apart from all the iPads and Kindle Fires is its integrated kickstand. In the video above it seems that the kickstand simply snaps into place when needed, and folds back against the tablet just as easily. While this isn’t a major innovation, it certainly is a cool feature. There is also the 3 mm thick Touch Cover, which is showcased in the video. Rather than buying an overly priced cover and a keyboard for your tablet separately, Microsoft has kindly made them into one accessary. Available in an array of colors, the Touch Cover is more than just a keyboard attachment. Rather than using buttons, it uses a pressure sensitive system that allows the user to type much faster than using a standard touch screen.
