The original Binding of Isaac premiered on September 28, 2011 and quickly swept the indie scene off its feet. With so many power-up and item possibilities, each play through is unique and addicting. Another fantastic Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) has come to an end. Although new consoles were absent from all developers, the entire show was dedicated to the newest games and hardware coming in the next year. It was refreshing to see creative ideas from each conference, with innovative spins on classic games combining with the rise of attention to new independent games. Dozens of new titles were showcased, but here are some of our favorites:

Looking back at PAX East 2014, our favorite gaming experience was none other than Evolve, published by 2K Games and Turtle Rock Studios. For those at the convention, you probably saw the impressive demo station with the to-scale Monster towering over the crowds (pictured below). We were happy to see that the setup did not yield a let down, but rather, an original gaming experience that will change online gaming on PS4, XBox One, and PC in Fall 2014.
